Default Intel /Amd

Hi whictch is a better cpu i7-960 or AMD Phenom II1090T Black Edition ?

Well, if you consider that one is $300 and the other is nearly $600, then the AMD is probably a better deal. If you're looking for just sheer speed and performance, then the Intel is going to be faster.

I was reading the reviews on new egg,they were saying the AMD was as fast as the Intel.At half the price. Thanks

This chart represents very basic performance benchmarks, but it does show the i7-960 as being slightly faster than the Phenom II 1090T.
