Default Windows 7

I have heard there is a way for college students to buy windows 7 for a discount. Has anyone seen this? And not just the upgrade I'm building a computer and start the os from scratch.

Yep, it's true. You have to have an email that ends with .edu.
Here's a brief summary.

"Company: MSDN Academic Alliance Software Center (MSDNAA)

Category: Computer software

Description: The MSDN Academic Alliance Software Center (MSDNAA) is an online software system where authorized students can download and access a wide range of Microsoft developer tools, servers, and platforms. There is no charge to download the software as long as you are an eligible user in the System."
