Default Budget Laptop

Hey I was wondering if you guys could offer up some suggestions for a quality laptop that would be probably used for some gaming but nothing too hardcore and then just everyday use. Probably looking at a budget of about $900-$1000. Ive looked at alienware stuff but heard too many bad things about them, is this everyones opinion too? Any help would be awesome!

The only bad things I've heard about Alienware is the price. It's typically good stuff, but rather pricey.

You could take a look at the Dell Outet for an XPS laptop. I've bought 2 pc's from the Dell Outlet and have been very impressed with the prices and the product options.
