So i see that the 4pin works as follows:
CPU FAN PWM
CPU FAN IN
CPU FAN PWR
GND

and the 3pin:
Rotation
+12V

on my first boot i'm given a 'CPU Fan error' message. The fan is going, but isn't connected to the 4 pin connector on the Asus MB as the upgraded Zalman fan uses a 3-pin connect...could that be...
