can I build a clone of HP Pavilion Elite m9040n Desktop PC?

specs: http://www.shopping.hp.com/webapp/shopping/store_access.do?template_type=product_detail&product_code=GN553AA%23ABA&jumpid=oc_R1002_USENC-001_HP%20Pavilion%20Elite%20m9040n%20Desktop%20PC&lang=en&cc=us

the reason to build over by it to save some money now, but moreover have something i can up-grade later piece by piece.

ideally i want the case as small as possible, but for cooling prolly shouldn't go smaller than a mid-tower.

things it could lose:
wireless (my router is already next to were it would sit)
the media card reader (i have a usb one that works fine and i don't use it that often)
the light scribe on the DVD RW drive

You can easily build a clone of that, or you could build a better version. :)
