partition question

hi,
I recently partitioned my hard drive into 2 sections. I was wondering if it was possible to make it back into one hard drive file instead of 2 partitions?
also it doesn't effect me if I lose data while doing this since my pc is still new.

I guess you could format and reinstall the os. Any reason why you don't want to partition?

well I was going to use the smaller partition for my family, but I don't know how to assign their user account to that hard drive only and I realized that if they save it would take up the space that I was going to use.
I might leave it the way it is :rolleyes:

Unless there is a way to assign user accounts to specific drives? any suggestions would help me out :)
