what is the best way to get output from my PC to my HDTV? I'm not gaming but want to watch downloaded movies and TV on my TV and not burn so many DVD disks.

would any video card with a TV out do?

All LCD TV's have a VGA port on them, its basically the same as hooking a comp up to a monitor.
