Hi Rob,
I just bought the Antec 900 at CompUSA as they were having a going out of business sale. Can I still use your book to build a PC using the Antec 900 as the case or do I need to start with the Antec Sonata III? Thanks.

There should not be any difference, all cases are the same, they have the same connectors ect
And i know for a fact the members of this site who are new to building have found Rob's book very helpful.
Go for it.

Thanks Jamie.
I saw on your response for a previous post that you recommended the below.
I can spend actually a bit more (say $1,500) and am trying to build a nice gaming machine. Would you then substitute any other parts for what you list below? Thanks.
Q6600 CPU, $279.99.
Asus P5K-C Motherboard, $135.99.
EVGA 8800GT, $289.99.
Antec 900 case, $59.99. (get this while its hot, its been reduced from over a $120)
Corsair HX520w, $99.99. (this is also a fair bit cheaper than it was a couple of weeks ago)
Corsair XMS2 2gb memory, $47.00 or the 4GB kit is $90.
Extra 80GB HD for Raid WD Caviar, $42.99.
Windows Vista home premium 32 bit, $109.99 (the 64 bit version is only $2 more).
Total including OS $1065.93.

No need to spend any more, save the money and get yourself a nice set of speakers, a good monitor and a gaming keyboard and mouse, and also, LOTS OF GAMES :D
Keyboard wise, Zboard Merc is excellent, check out my review in the peripherals section, for a mouse go for the Logitech G5.
Good luck.
