Hi,
I just found this awesome site yesterday. I am interested in building a super linux computer with Ubuntu, although it would take some time. I am still in college and really can not afford a lot right now. Anyway, upon reading this forum, Rob's page and other forums I found that people sometimes have problems getting the correct drivers for their hardware. I found this software called Drivermax (http://www.innovative-sol.com/drivermax/index.htm). It attempts to recognize the hardware that you are running and gives you pointers on where to get the correct driver for it. It also lets you backup all your drives and then if you had to reinstall your system, you just need to install drivermax and restore all the drivers back! No hassle.
Its a freeware and works only for Windows.
Hope this helps.
Sudarshan.
