I have a Intel core 2 duo processor e4300

agp port nividia video port (i hear that new video ports are available so a motherboard with both is ideal)

2 memory card slots for 2 512 mb DIMM unbuffered non-ECC DDR2 (although want room to upgrade to much higher RAM)

current case size is about 16in. w X 18in. h

sata raid hd

regular hd

dvd burner

cd burner

floppy drive

i would like to know the best motherboard for me. motherboard for future upgrades good.

You cannot get motherboards with both AGP and PCI-E slots, so you will have to choose. :)

The best chipset you can get at the moment is either nVidia's 680i chipset or Intel's P35 chipset - both are very good, but I would recommend the P35.
