Hi, I'm planning on building a gaming PC (Not the best in the world, but a good one, that is expandable and upgradable further down the track.) Here's what I've come up with. Any advice would be awesome!

Thanks

Processor: INTEL Core 2 Duo 2.2GHz E4500 + Ventilateur [ LGA775 - 2MB - 65nm - 800MHz ]

Motherboard: ASUS P5LD2-X ( Intel 945 - Socket 775 - FSB 1066 )

Memory: 2x DDR2 1GB DDR667 (PC2-5300) - KINGSTON [KVR667D2N5/1G]

Case: Boitier Tour L-Case Duro-1 - black/silver ( 4 x 5.25 ) - 400W

HDD: SATA300 160GB - 7200 SAMSUNG SpinPoint S166 SEC-HD161HJ

DVD Drive: DVD ± RW 8.5GB LITEON DH-20A3P Black OEM [ DH-20A3P-06C ]

Graphics Card: MSI NX8500GT-TD512EH/D2 PCIe ( GeForce 8500GT 512DDR DVI HDTV )

I'll tell you now that if you want a gaming PC, you will have to change some parts.

The motherboard has a very old chipset.

The Graphics card won't play any games, at least not any recent ones.

Kingston memory isn't that good and you should be looking at 800Mhz memory.

The CPU is pretty good but for a bit more money you can have a much better one.

How much money do you have to spend on this build? then i can advise you more.

well the thing is, I'm living in Switzerland. I'm getting my hardware from prodimex.ch.
As far as money goes, I dont have thousands of dollars to spend, it depends on what's available.

You don't need thousands of dollars to build a solid gaming rig.

You could get away with using the motherboard and CPU, but you need a more meaty GPU, something like an 8800GT or an ATI 3870.

So I would need to upgrade the graphics card? And the rest will support the change?
Also, would it be possible for me to upgrade parts later on without trouble?

If you want to play games, especially new ones, you need something better.

Alright, then I'll go for the ATI Radeon HD3850

Thanks for all the help!
