Finally I built my desktop. Here is my first build. Does this look good? Gaming is not my primary concern. But I wanted to build a good desktop, not the cheapest. Did I make right choice?

1. Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo 6750 ($190)

2. Memory: Crucial Ballistix 2GB ($50)

3. Case: Antec Solo case ($25)

4. Power Supply: Cooler Master Real Power Pro 650W ($60)

5. Hard disk: Seagate 320GB ($65)

6. DVD Drive: Sony DVD Writer ($25)

7. Keyboard & Mouse: Microsoft Wireless Laser Desktop 4000 ($25)

8. Motherboard: XFX 680i LT SLI Mobo ($118)

9. Printer: Epson All in one ($27)

10. Video Card: BFGTech GeForce 8500GT ($40)

Thanks
BK

Corsair XMS2 memory is better and cheaper.

The motherboard is very overkill if you are not gaming, so is the CPU and so is the memory.

BUT, its a good build and should serve you well.

Thanks Jamie for your quick response. Actually I got Corsair XMS2 memory also with CPU making it free after MIR. Now I have 4GB in my system. I am running Vista home premium 32bit. And I found in this forum that 32bit systems won't recognize 4GB RAM. So I am planning to return 2GB of Crucial Ballistix RAM. Do you think it's a good idea?

Thanks

Well if your not gaming then sending the 2GB back would put an extra $50 in your back pocket so yeah its a good idea.
