I'm mainly using this for gaming and video/photo editing, if you could and would like to build me a better setup, in the about same price range, then please do, it would be greatly appriciated.

Swap the pentium for a Core 2 duo E6750 and the motherboard for an Asus P5K P35 motherboard, swap the 8500GT for an 8800GT, the 8500GT won't play any games.

Where abouts are you in the world lol :)

Sorry to say Gembli, but other than the ram, I don't like any of the items you've picked out.

A P35 mobo is much more versatile and reliable.
Core2Duo is a much better option for a processor.
A single 8800GT card will run circles around 2x8500GT's.

Plus, you didn't list a Case, Optical Drive, Keybaord, Mouse, or Operating System.

Let Jamie price out a decent gaming rig. You won't be disappointed.

i agree with rickytick everything but the ram is terrible. defeintley get the asus mobo and the E6550 core duo like WM said. i have the E6550O C'd to 3 ghz so i saved 100 bucks instead of buying a stock 3 ghz core duo. and that cpu cooler is crap this one is awesome and its got a fat rebate. http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=3071636&Sku=T925-1200

ive read on this site that its better to get one superior video card then two inferior ones, which is true. if your gonna game ur better off getting an 8800 gt i have one and i can play crysis i love it.

For $15 more than the E6550 you get the E6750, which is very good is better for a lot of people because most don;t know what overclocking is or how to do it.

No cooler under $50 is better than an Arctic Freezer 7 Pro, theres really no need to overclock ANY core 2 duo so you should keep the stock fan, its very good.

Here is what you should build

Intel C2D E6750
EVGA 8800GT
Gigabyte P35 or one of the Asus P5K range
Corsair XMS 2GB
KEEP THE STOCK FAN IF YOUR NOT OVERCLOCKING
I hear from Reviews that those Ultra PSU's are good.....and i don't believe a word of them, some of these reviewers chat so much balls its unbelivable.

So i would go for Antec or Hiper Type R, if you have a bit more to spend get the Corsair HX520w.
