Need help re driver update. Just acquired the Asus P5KC board and not sure which drivers to update. Been to asus site and have following choices for XP OS.
For chipset i have a choice of two V8.3.0.1013 and 8.3.0.1013 both look similar except that file size and date different.
I have same issue re audio file. V5.10.0.5390 or 5.10.0.5391 & 6.0.1.53 again size and date different.
I would have gone for the second one in both cases as later dates and file sizes greater. However because the ver numbers the same i am a bit confused.
Didn't go to Intel site as confused the hell out of me lol.
Realtec site, couldn't find the driver :-(
Therefore thought it safer to just use the asus site as they made the board.
Another thing. With the discs i received with the motherboard is there anyway i can interrogate the disc to see what versions are on there before i install the motherboard.
