OS question

hi,

I was reading the section about operating systems on Rob's website and now I'm wondering if it is still worth it to get Windows XP since Vista will be the likely OS for future applications?

I'll probably still getting XP, but I'm just wondering what you guys think

I think its probably about time to move to Vista, especially if you are buying/building a new computer. I still use XP, but thats because I have it set up the way I like it, plus I play a lot of games, and Vista kinda hogs a lot of resources.

If your building a normal everyday word processing/ internet browsing machine get Vista.

If you game a lot stick with XP.

oh ok, good points, but I think I'm gonna make mine a gaming comp so I'll go with XP
