The hardest part for me about building a system is finding reputable sellers with low prices. (I am seriously starting to think about just giving up and building a cheap computer instead of what I wanted.)

These are the items I was looking for, but I don't want to be buying from everywhere, but want good deals as well.

Case: Antec 900
CPU: Inte C2D E6750
PSU: Corsair 520HX
MOBO: Asus P5K-E/WIFI-AP
RAM: Corsair XMS2 TWIN2X2048-8500C5
Lube: AS5 oem
LCD: 22'' Hanns-G HW-223DPB
CD Drive: Sony DRU840A
Hard drive: WD5000AAKS
Keyboard: Logictech G11
CPU cooler: Artic cooling freezer 7 Pro
GPU: EVGA geforce 8800GT 802A1 model. (cheaper one)

Not essentials:
RAM Fan: Corsair CMXAF1
Speakers: Logictech X-530 70watt
Sound Card: Creative sound blaster Xi-Fi Xtreme Gamer

If you could tell me where the best place to each of these components is at for a good price it would be greatly appreciated.

I love newegg but no days they arent the cheapest, but include them.

I will understand if no one wants to post, have a great thanksgiving.

Those are all pretty fair prices. Try living in Europe and being forced to buy your stuff here with the euro against the dollar.

I think it might be cheapest to just use one vendor because then you don't have to pay shipping to 10 different vendors. They always rip you in the shipping.

Try living in the UK, and then you see how expensive things are... XD

I think you are worrying too much about this. Sure, some components may be more expensive at newegg, but its always better to buy from one seller than from lots of different ones.

How much do you save buying from all the different places, including shipping, than buying from newegg?

TRY LIVING IN LONDON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The most expensive city on the planet, or indeed the Universe.

Cirndle don't give up dude, you will have a kick ass rig by the time you are finished.

I agree with those comments, Europe very expensive.

Try living north of London, londoners dont even think there is a north lol.

Did matrix of vendors to parts im buying and found that lowest was £530 and highest £580. Therefore taking into account shipping point mentioned above this hardly made any diff.

I would buy from one supplier wherever possible, however sometimes its not possible.

Dude you're going to be paying a crap-load in shipping if you buy from so many different places! Also consider customer service. Newegg is very good about returning things if needed.

I ended up getting all my items from newegg, and sometimes they have combo deals on things. And there service is excellent.

Hello. I'm new to this as well. I recently priced out a new build and I found that mwave was cheaper than Tigerdirect and Newegg. You can do the comparison yourself. Get the manufacturer part number for each component and use the search feature. See what you get.
