I goto Asus website and goto the download section for P5N-E SLI. What I see under sata are two winxp driver with different descriptions and I'm not sure which one to use when installing windows. The two are:

#1 WinXP
Version 1.16.1.0
Description JMicron JMB36X SATA/PATA Controller Driver V1.16.1.0 for Windows 2K/XP/2003 & 64Bit XP/2003.(WHQL)
#2 WinXP
Version -
Description nVidia 32bit SATA RAID for Win2k/WinXP/Win2003/WinXP 64bit/Win2003 64bit

I assume it's #2 but can't test as I'm downloading all the drivers at work. If someone could please tell me which one I will need for window installation.

Thanks

You shouldn't need to use any of them during the installation.

But WM knows more about windows than me so i think he would be better to advise you.

I need the sata drives to install windows. When you start installing windows you have the option to push F6 to load sata drive. I'm sure it's #2 after downloading and looking at the files. Maybe WM can confirm that is the drive I need to use.

Either one should be fine mate - it just means that two different people have brought out RAID drivers for your motherboard.

I'd recommend using the nVidia drivers though. :)
