Upgrade Ram ( not same brand...is it ok? )

hi guys , i wanna upgrade memory for my super pc ....now i have 2GB Patriot PC 800 ....can i add more ram but different brand...cuz they're cheaper ...lol cant afford Patriot anymore.

make sure they have the same latency, or else ull have to configure the settings in the BIOS to the slower latency settings so that both rams are capable of the leatency speed
