Hi to All-
I thought everyone might be interested in this if you aren't already aware.
I just bought some Corsair memory at Tiger Direct. Unfortunately, one stick had
to be returned as it failed in my computer. I assumed that the shipping charge back to Corsair would be reimbursed to me since I had already paid shipping charges once to Tiger. I had the RAM less than a week before it failed.
In contacting Corsair (AFTER I had sent the ram back) I found out that they can't refund shipping charges after an RMA# has been issued. The supervisor of Customer Service told me that had I spoken with them prior to mailing it back, they would have given me their UPS number to charge it to. No refunds after the part has been mailed. Just wanted to let you know in case you weren't aware of this. It's not the amount of money involved, it's the principle! Oh well, live and learn. Peace, Out.
