Which kind of tower?

Hi again!

I was looking for case online, and they have some weird ones that look like big cubes that you can carry around, as well as some very small ones. Does it really matter what kind of case I get? :confused:

Also, do you have to have a cooling system besides a fan?

Those ice cubes are small form factor cases :D

It depends on the size of your motherboard, most motherboards are ATX so your going to need an ATX case, when you look at the case it will tell you whether they are ATX, micro ATX or other.

You do not need a cooling system, the cpu will come with a fan, and if you decide to use a decent graphics card that will have a fan as well.

For a normal browsing/word processing computer you won't need any extra fans although most cases come with an exaust fan at the back of the case.

On newegg check out a brand called Rosewill, they do some good cases for cheap.
