Hard Drive Partition

Build went perfect.

I partitioned the drive into C: and D:. I loaded the Vista 64bit on C and planned to load games on D. It said I must format D before I can use it. Is that right? It didn't ask me to format C. Whats up?

It would automatically format the C: drive to NTFS when installing Vista. You will need to format the D: drive to NTFS via the Disk Management snap-in in the Microsoft Management Console.

To get to this, do Windows Key+R, type mmc and press enter, go to file->add/remove snap in, click add and select Disk Management. I think this is right. :)

You were right. Vista formatted drive C, and I formatted D. Everything is working fine. Thanks for the help.
