View Full Version : Computer Shutting Down

I have recently ran into something with my second build.
I've had this machine running for about a year now and it decides now it doesn't want to stay running. After getting past the BIOS screen right before it goes into loading the OS it shuts down. I thought it was something to do with the HDD so I pulled it out and stuck into my first computer I built. Everything loaded up fine with some driver errors but those were expected. So now I'm lost. The only thing that comes to mind is my PSU. :confused:

Another board member had a problem like this. Here is the thread. It looks like it may have been a heat problem.

That sounds exactly like what is hapening to my machine. I am going to try all those suggestions.
