Processor Question

Can someone tell me which processor is faster? I'm a little confused at to which one to choose. Prices are from newegg. I know the core code has something to do with speed but unsure if the pentium d 2.8 and the pentium d 3.0 would out perform core 2 due 2.0.

The core 2 duo would own both of those CPU's.

Intel often used to exaggerate the speeds of their CPU's, but with the Core 2 duo's they have not.

The core 2 duo is a huge leap from pentium D, a leap about 10 miles long :D

Remember, you can do more with a dual core haha :D

Seriously though mate, the E4400 would chew both of those CPU's up and then spit them out.
