Hi folks,
I have a homegrown system with a HAF932 coolermaster case. It has been operational for years, but recently I started getting "USB over current device" warnings on booting, and I was able to narrow it down to the front I/O panel, which had become damaged.
So, I obtained a new front panel, and installed it tonight. However, I'm having an awful time getting things working again. Part of the struggle is that there were no instructions, but I believe I have plugged everything in correctly, or at least the same way it was plugged in before.
The problem is, now that I have completed the installation, when I press the power button, the fans spin up for about three seconds, and then spin back down. I never get to the BIOS or get the motherboard beep or anything.
I am not super-technical, so any suggestions you can give would be helpful. I suspect the most likely answer is I have SOMETHING plugged in incorrectly, so let me know what information I can provide to help.
Here's a pic, although I'm not sure this will help.

Thanks very much!
