I recently built the following system using recommendations from mysupercomputer.com:

• Antec Sonata III 500 Quiet Super Mid Tower ATX Case (Black)
• Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD5H motherboard, BIOS F14
• Intel Core i5-3570k 3.4GHz (quad-core)
• Crucial 16GB kit (8GBx2), 240-pin DIMM Upgrade for a Giga-Byte GA-Z77X-UD5H System

I use Windows 7 Ultimate and have the need to run MicroSoft XP Mode using Virtual PC. But, the Windows utility havdetectiontool.exe tells me I do not have hardware-assisted virtualization enabled.

But, in the BIOS, I DO have virtualization enabled as
Intel Virtualization Technology - ENABLED

The CPU Z utility shows the following instruction set:
MMX, SSE, SSE2, SSE3, SSSE3, SSE4.4, SSE4.2, EM64T, VT-x, AES, AVX

My Question: Doesn't showing VT-x in the instruction set indicate hardware-assisted virtualization?

If not, then what should I see that does indicate H-A-V?

Am I overlooking something?
