Does anyone have insurance to cover your PC should it be lost or stolen etc? And if so who is your coverage through? I'm curious if this is a wise option. I found a company that says for 65 bucks I get 1 year of coverage from loss/theft/powersurge etc... Never heard of the company though and don't want to get suckered in to some fly by night bull.

I've found extended warranties to almost always be a waste of money. jmo

I was thinking more like if calamity strikes and I get robbed someone takes the computer or if lightning strikes my building, no surge protector is strong enough to withstand a direct hit, but having checked into it apparently I'm covered. I have renters insurance that for total loss, like in the event of a fire, will give me 50k to replace everything after a $500 deductible. So my hyper-vigilance/paranoia was once again, for nothing. *grin* *shrug*
