Clearing CMOS/Bios

If I use the jumper to clear CMOS, will it revert to original bios version that came with the MOBO? if not how would I get it to the original version?

Yes it will set everything in the Bios back to factory default settings.

It doesnt matter it wasn't critical, but i did that and it still shows the newest bios, oh well, i must have done it incorrectly. :) thanks for the help

Its easier to just remove the battery for 30 seconds.

Also, have you flashed the bios? If so, I'm not sure if removing the battery will change it.

i think i did :( i used the award flash utility. It's not the cause of my problems, but if i keep getting any, ill flash back to original that i can download from asus. appreciate the help.
