I have experience with one successful build. I have a hard copy of Rob's book copyrighted 2006, which is pretty close to the time I did the build. As anyone may know, the book was very valuable for my success at that time.

Would today's printing be worth it for me to buy an updated version (given that I have one build under my belt)?

The book is great for first-time builders who have questions about the order of assembly, all of the nuts, bolts and cables, and common snags. But almost any build is going to vary in particular components and configuration. Things have changed quite a bit since the 2006 build. But since you already have the experience of one fairly recent build then I think you should be able to manage ok without an new book. Of course, you may be able to consult the online pages, anyway.
