How do you guys stay up to date on the latest hardware? Is there a reliable publication or do you just have to read and research every new release and stick on the vendor's mailing lists or something?
Pretty much just stay in the loop. Read message boards like this one, read magazines like PCWorld and PCMag, and check in on big time hardware sites, like www.anandtech.com (http://www.anandtech.com) and www.tomshardware.com (http://www.tomshardware.com).

I work as a technician, so being on the cutting edge is quite important.
One of my favourite sites is www.digg.com - user submitted content is always good. Check out the technology section.

I've got feed-readers for digg and delicious mostly for news and entertainment(I always think they're funny because you can see the personality of the audience very clearly), I guess I'll make a feed for hardware specific posts... thanks
