Desktop Not Powering up, but signal is sent.

I have a gateway FX7026 that i have been working on for the past 6 hours. When i was given the computer, it was disassembled, i have managed to put everything back together, and everything seems like its connected properly. The motherboard lights up signaling its receiving power from the PSU and when i press the power button, the power LED flashes orange and the computer does not turn on. Could anyone help me find the cause of this problem? Please and thanks

It would seem as though something is not connected properly. That's assuming that it was working prior to being disassembled. Maybe the ram is not seated well in the dimm slot. I would try going through every connections and making sure its ok. Hard to say with limited information.
