Hi Everyone!
Ok so basically I'm very new to pc gaming and I'm looking to build my own pc for it. Ive been doing a fair bit of research for builds in the $900-1100 range and i was just wondering if i could get some feedback/advice as to wether or not this would be a sufficient build for this price range of mine. (This ones directed at the gamers!)

- Intel Core i5-3570K Ivy Bridge Processor
- Cooler Master Hyper 212+ CPU Cooler
- Asus Radeon 7850
- Crucial m4 128 gb ssd
- Cooler Master HAF 912 case
- Corsair tx650v2
- Asus 24xDVD-RW Serial ATA Internal OEM Drive DRW-24B1ST (Black)
- WD CAVIAR BLUE 500GB 7200RPM HDD
- GIGABYTE GA-990XA-UD3 AM3+ AMD 990X SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard

So for all you gaming minded individuals out there, do you think this build could run games such as Battlefield 3, Modern warfare 3 Shogun 2 and even games coming out this year???
All feedback will be much appreciated and please no flame, I'm very new and green to all this!

Can't use an Intel processor with an AMD motherboard. Either find an LGA1155 chipset motherboard or use an AMD processor that works in an AM3+ motherboard.

Thanks for that RickyTick! Could anyone suggest a motherboard for around $100 or little bit over that has the LGA1155 chipset and would compliment this build?

Sure, something like the GIGABYTE GA-Z77-D3H is a nice choice in that price range.

Nice build. ASrock also makes some good Z77 boards for a reasonable price. You should have no problem with BF3 on that GPU.
