CPU Cooling Question

Is replacing the thermal cooling compound with "arctic silver 5" still recommended? Has anyone calculated or estimated the additional cooling effect of changing the cooling compound to arctic silver 5?

Arctic Silver is great if you have some laying around. Otherwise, there's absolutely nothing wrong with the stock compound that comes with the cpu/cooler.
