Sorry if this has been posted before, and I have to assume it is basic enough that it has been but I couldn't find it when I searched.

Is there a significant difference in P67 and Z68 chipsets? I plan on a 2500K cpu if that will make a difference as well.

This post pretty much sums it up. (http://www.overclock.net/t/1184241/difference-between-h67-p67-z68-and-h61-chipsets)

A P67 board doesn't have video inputs for on-board or SSD caching. I'm guessing you will be getting a GPU, so either will do the job. P67 is cheaper too. Personally, if I were to do it again I would get Z68... so I could utilize the on board video if I ever had a problem with my GPU.
