Quick Motherboard Question (QMQ)

Hey everyone, I am thinking about building my first gaming computer, but do have experience with upgrading old computers. I am a little confused about what I should be looking for in terms of motherboards. I know that it needs to be compatible with the processor and have the ports that i need. Is there anything else or is that really it?

Hi There,

There are quite a few things to consider, of course. I would begin simply by searching the forum using "gaming motherboard". LOTS of great stuff is in here that well help you. You may first want to share what your budget for your build is and that will help the forum narrow down the choices.
