I finally got my first build to boot (initially didn't have a powerful enough psu) and everything went fine installing windows etc.

But now in BIOS and in windows it shows that I only have 2gb of ram, but I actually have 2x2gb sticks installed of corsair XMS3 ddr3 ram. Also I don't think my processor is being recognized properly, but the only reason that I think that is that in WoW in the options there is a little note that says "high requires more than a 1 core processor" for one of the graphics options.

I updated the bios, cleared the cmos, made sure the ram was all properly seated and in the proper slots and whatnot but still nothing. I went into msconfig->boot->advanced options and unchecked the max memory box, but that didn't make a difference. I don't really know what else to do.

All help is appreciated :)

corsair TX650W psu
OCZ solid3 60g ssd (for now)
windows 7 home premium 64-bit

Do you have the RAM in the same coloured slots? Ie. Both in the blue or black slot. Try the different slots and see if the problem persists.
