How do i know my super pc need more power

Hi guys....how do i know my super pc need more power from power supply? my i have 450w ps.... running 7300 geforce , 3.4 Ghz pentium d, extrem fatalty sound card , 2 GB DDR 2 800 , case fan.....my dvd burner didnt run ....after i unplug the case fan ....its back to normal ? that mean i have to get a new power supply ? about 550w or 600w ?

Personally, I've never had a problem using an Antec or Enermax power supply that meet the minimum power recommendations of the video card.

The problem you're describing doesn't sound like a power supply problem. A single computer case fan only draws a few watts of power. It sounds more like a loose connection or short.

oh thanks Rob .... do i have to pay for the software ?

you know why everytime i play need for speed underground 2....i play for like 10 minutes or less my super pc freezes so i have to press the reset button. Not just play game but sometime try to open creative sound card applicatioin my pc also freeze
