Hey Mods,

I am unable to make any changes to my account, specifically adding a signature. It says it was disabled by an administrator. This site helped me a lot so I just want to do my part and help others.

Thanks.

We'll have to get with Rob and see why "Signature" is disabled. Stay tuned...

Ok, thanks for the heads up.

Signatures are enabled only for Mods as a safety precaution. In the worst case, they can exploit a vulnerability in the the forum software. You've been very active for a couple of months with helpful stuff. Maybe you'd like to join the ranks of Mod with RickyTick. Otherwise, I think I could create a new user group for Trusted Users that would allow signatures and I could put you in that group.

I would't mind being a mod. Depends on what you require time-wise as I usually post when I have free time at work and sometimes on the weekend. If that is okay, then I'm all for it.

The work hours are very flexible, and the pay is great. ;)

Bing! - You're a moderator. As well as being able to have a signature, you now have powers to ban users and delete their posts. Always use your powers for good. With great power comes great responsibility.

Sorry to bother you guys again... but I'm not sure I'm a moderator yet. In the subforums, my name doesn't appear at the bottom and can't move topics etc.

Hey, you're right. I guess putting you in that user group wasn't enough. Ok, I think I fixed it.

Thanks. Looks like it is working now.
