Hello. This will be my first build, following advice from this site. Any feedback or advice on my component choices would be much appreciated. The computer will be used mostly for web, 3d machine programming, and graphics demanding gaming.

Cooler master storm sniper case

ASUS P8P67 EVO motherboard, (or pro, unsure yet)

Corsair builder series cx500 v2 500w ps

Crucial ballistix 2x4 GB DDR3 2000

EVGA GTX 450 1 GB

Lite-On IHES208-08 8X Internal Blu-Ray Combo Drive

WD 1 TB Caviar Black, 6Gb/s 7200 RPM 64Mb cache

Intel Core i5-2500K Processor 3.3GHz 6 MB Cache Socket LGA1155

Also considering a 64Gb crucial SSD for windows and select programs.

Looks great.

Nvidia doesn't offer a GTX450. They do have a GTS450, or a GTX460. If you're wanting to play some of the newer games, you probably should consider a GTX560 or GTX560 Ti.

Ah you're right, that was meant to be a gtx 460. Thanks for pointing out the 560s, I found a 560 ti from EVGA that, after comparison, I would much prefer over the 460.

Thanks a lot for checking my components and the quick reply Ricky!

What is your reason for going with the i5 rather than the i7 if you don't mind me asking?

And may I recommend checking out the antec sonata IV case, it comes with 620W power supply already in it, as well as a decent exhaust fan with 3 speed settings. Its the one I used and I love it. Just a reccomendation. I believe it's like 160$ for it.

That is newegg, 20$ shipping, I got mine off eBay for 159$ free shipping.
