Welcome to the forums. Looks like a great build.

That DVD burner is an IDE. You'll need one with a SATA connection instead.

It would be even better if you could step up that video card to a 6950.

Thanks for the welcome.

I was thinking aobut the 6950, but dollar for dollar the 6850 seems like a better deal, and im trying to keep my cost under 1500. Do you think the 6950 will make a big difference in "future" performance?

Thanks for the dvd tip though! I didnt even realize, I just selected the cheapest one :)

The 6950 is going to put you in a much better position for now, as well as in the future. This is an excellent "bang for the buck" video card.

It's only $225 after rebate and has free shipping. I'd say it's worth considering.

Hi there,

Pretty good build. I would suggest looking into the model above the LE motherboard you selected. Since you are getting an unlocked processor, I am assuming you will be overclocking. The LE model doesn't have USB 3.0, Bluetooth, or VRM for OC. I'm a first time builder myself and this chart gave me some insight for the differences. In my opinion, there is a big difference between the LE and regular P8P67 vs the others. The difference is $15. See the chart below. Of course, do your research and come to your own conclusions. Good luck!

Hey man, looks like a good one..I am new here and also new to building, but you are welcome to check out my first build thread..my current build is posted on the second page, and I can play WoW at ultra/maxxed settings at 65 fps, very nice:)

And my entire build with monitor and keyboard and everything included is less than 1200$. And you could tinker with a few things to get the price down some as well..but I have the sapphire 6950 and it's great :)

My build is an AMD build though..not sure if you are stuck on intel or not..figured it was worth a mention though lol.
