HI ,
I have a MSI PA76A-GD65 Mother board with their super duper BIOS ofr dummies.
I installed my Hard Drive after my first boot and tried to intall Windows 7.
I got 2 lights on the front ofmy computer case and a message to install a disk and reboot. over and over and over.....
I finally got an idea that I would look at the BIOS. The first screen I came to under settings was a screen that would let me change the time and date for the computer.
Below this was a list of the USB ports and after each one was the word disabled for every one.
I am guessing that this means that the computer can not see the C/D-DVD player or my hard drive. I fiddles with all of the knobs dials and buttons trying to activate the ports, but I was unable to get this super duper BIOS for dummies to do anything but change the time and date.
I ther someone that can help me with this problem.
Thanks.
Wally
P.S.
I tried opening the bios again just a secon ago and now I only get one light on the front of my computer and it boots just like it did on the first boot. It doesn let me open the bios and it doesn't look to see if there is a Hard Drive in the machine.
