This is actually for my laptop, I've been using the sprint wireless card since I'm always on the road traveling, its is ridiculously slow and almost not even worth having. Can anyone recommend me a better way to go. Something that will be quick all the time and not cost me a fortune.

If you have 3G on your cell phone, you may be able to tether it from your laptop, or make it a wifi hotspot.

i just read a thing online last week after I posted this about rooting my cell phone for that use, I just haven't done it yet, it seems you need a spare memory card to do it right.

I've never done it either, but I've heard about it. Just google around and see what you can find.
