I currently am looking to build a high performance computer made for intensive programming, virtualization and watching Blu-ray movies. After reading through a bunch of tutorials and forum posts, I am unsure if I should lean more towards a gaming, home theater or basic PC. I am looking to spend under $800 excluding monitor, keyboard and mouse.
