On the Intel build, you should choose a triple channel ram. Check into a 12 gb kit (3x4gb)

Have you considered LGA1155 Sandy Bridge?

I didn't realize you had answered. What is difference in ram and how would the LGA1155 Sandy Bridge be better?

If you're going with the X58 build, it requires a triple channel ram, whereas all others require dual channel.
Look a ram kit like this, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231356

Sandy Bridge is just Intel's most recent generation of processors. They are very fast and very efficient.
Here's a good review, http://www.anandtech.com/show/4083/the-sandy-bridge-review-intel-core-i7-2600k-i5-2500k-core-i3-2100-tested/1

Ok thanks, I will check out the link. I thought i had read in another post not to get the Sandy Bridge?? Don't remember the reasoning though.
