This is the computer i have had since 2005. So you can tell i am in need of an upgrade.

I found this combo deal on newegg and wanted your thoughts on it.

http://www.newegg.ca/Product/ComboBundleDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.647220

I basically just want a fast PC, and one that can run video editing software/photoshop easily. And minor gaming. I play mostly on console, so its not a big deal to me on my PC.

I wish i could cut off the $32 dollar antivirus software on there, that is not needed.

Is the video card integrated?

Any suggestions or changes. My price limit is around 900 dollars

also i have a keyboard, mouse, monitor. Granted they are also crappy and will need to be replaced at a later time.

This motherboard does not have an integrated graphics card, that would be handled by the cpu.

I'm not real crazy about the setup, to be honest. I think you could do better. Also you will probably want more than 4 gb of ram if you use Photoshop and video editing.

Ok. I was also looking at your high end builds.. The middle one

If that's just a little more than you really wanted to spend, then take a look at this system.

Case COOLER MASTER RC-692-KKN2 CM690 II Advanced

Power Supply CORSAIR Enthusiast Series TX650 V2 650W

Motherboard MSI P67A-G43 (B3) LGA 1155 Intel P67 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel

CPU Intel Core i5-2500K Sandy Bridge 3.3GHz

Ram G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666)

Video Card MSI N560GTX-TI Twin Frozr II/OC GeForce GTX 560 Ti

Hard Drive Western Digital Caviar Black WD1002FAEX 1TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s

Optical Drive ASUS Black 24X DVD+R 8X DVD+RW

Total is $1037

My first question is does the price include the OS, If it does, i can get that on my own. And i have an exernal cd/dvd drive, so i can cut the 20 dollar optical drive off the list. And i would like to lower the 1TB HD to 500Gbs. I would like to try to cut the price from 1037 to as low as i can go without compromising the power.

any other things i can do?

And like you said earlier i would prob need 6gbs of ram for photoshop and video editing, so i would have to add more to the list.

Check this out. This is a slight variation on the build you posted above. It steps up to 8gb of ram, but goes with a lesser video card (since you're not a hard core gamer), and it has a 640 gb hard drive. I removed the optical drive too. Total without an operating system is about $780. Now that takes into account some mail in rebates that you'll get back later. What do you think?
