I was also wondering about having a solid state drive to run windows with a mag drive such as the one above...If you'd had/heard of any experiences with this I'd love to hear about them. Thanks!

Looks like a very nice setup. I'd go with the first motherboard. I'm a little weary of Rosewill products. That's Newegg's "house brand", and is usually cheap in price and quality.
