my build list, opinions please

1st build, here's my list I came up with.

Only having one issue, can't decide on which case to go with. From reviews many mid towers are pretty big and can handle the large video cards. I'm not much into the bling-bling light show most game case's come with. Wanting to find something under $100 that is somewhat conservative and sometimes a little flashy. I like the lights inside a case for "show and tell" but don't want them on all the time.
If it came to it I would go for something like the HAF 922 for the cooling fans, just as long as I could shut off the LED lights at night. Or maybe the Sonata case's for quietness.

I've never shut down my current machine in 8 years except for installs or leaving for vacations. The new machine will likely run 24/7 as well. So I want the new case to keep things cooled all the time but not glow in the dark all night. (my 18 month old just loves to poke at the blue LED's and buttons on current machine)

My current Sonata runs pretty quiet but thats likely because it only has one fan in the case.

Could you experienced builders lend your opinion on my build list and if everything is compatible? Any case suggestions? Appreciate any help.

Thanks RickyTick, I'm curious about the difference in the ram choice, is the timing spec the deciding factor? What's better, higher number or lower number? 9-9-9-24-2N or 8-8-8-24? I noticed another builder going with the same motherboard as me and you suggested different GSkill ram than suggested for me? Is his motherboard slightly different than my choice? His post (here (http://forums.mysuperpc.com/showthread.php?3886-What-am-I-Missing/page3))

Went to Asus.com and looked up the approval list for memory, couldn't find either one of the GSkill #'s on the're list. How/where do you find which ram is approved for this motherboard?

And thanks for your recommeded build lists in your signature, thats what got me excited about building my own.

The lower latency numbers are faster. 888 is better than 999. I really don't know why I may have suggested different sets for the same motherboard. Probably just a mistake on my part. ;)

This is a good question that comes up from time to time. The motherboard manufacturers just can't seem to list every single ram module that will work with their board, nor do they have time to test them all. I've used plenty of ram kits that were not on the mobo's list of compatible ram.
