Looks good unless I've missed something it's all going to work great together. These days you almost never need to worry if a particular setup will work as long as you cover the basic four components... mobo+cpu+memory+video.. They always will need to go together in order to get that first boot .Although my brain is overclocked and crashing because I'm suffering from sticker shock after the totals. But then it's your wallet not mine. Screw the six month rule. $1400.00 easy

Looking good mate :D

One thing though, i would get a retail CPU instead of an OEM one.

Apart from that everything should work fine.

Thanks for the reply but why get the retail one? Is there some common knowledge im missing about the OEM. lol.

First of all, Retail processors come with 3 years warranty, not 1 year warranty.

Secondly, the cooler that comes with a core 2 duo retail pack is excellent, it is made for overclocking and is copper bottomed.

Thirdly, and sorry to lay the smackdown here, the retail Q6600 is cheaper than than the combined price of the the OEM Q6600 and the cooler you chose by by $10.

Heres the link http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115017

You save yourself a few dollars, you get a better cooler and 3 years warranty.

Not exactly common knowledge but.........;)

I see laying the smackdown worked ;)

Don't change anything....apart from the power supply, its too low in wattage, have a look around for a 700w or 730w brand name, i don't like that power supply, one its too cheap and two, it isn't a brand name, you may have to spend upwards of $100 to get a good one that will power your rig.

Everything else is fine so don't change anything :D
