View Full Version : Building first PC--AMD CPU Cooling Question

I am building the AMD system from the recommended High End System post on these forums. I'll paste the info below for quick reference.

One thing I don't like is noise. This processer reviews very well, but fan noise and marginal to high temps under CPU load are noted in several review.

Looking at the system as a whole, will I have to upgrade the heatsink/fan included with the CPU. Does anyone else have experience with this CPU?
