I just want to know if it's worth waiting for the sandy bridge until lt comes up with triple channel memory? If not then I'm left with a choice. Sandy bridge with dual-channel memory or the i7-950 with its triple-channel memory boards.
I'm not even sure if it makes a difference. I've googled a lot about dual and triple channel memory boards and I'm more confused then ever. Some say that the extra bandwidth helps a lot, others say that tests have shown that it make close to no difference.
I'm pretty much done selecting the parts of this new PC I'm building and this is the only thing I'm still unsure of. Any opinions please share.
