Hey Rob

A new member called brosne on the website has been posting links to a so called getitfree website blah blah blah i am sure you know the like, click the link, multiple pop ups ect and i know that that particular website is a real bugger, i also know that this same guy (same username) has been doing the exact same thing on lots of other forums, serial spammer i believe.

Just thought i would give you a heads up on this twat so you can delete his/hers/its posts.

Cheers
Jamie

It's possible that this guy is a bot, but then again it's entirely possible he is just some idiot that likes to spam. I'll keep an eye on him.

I'll remove all of their posts, thanks for the heads up.

EDIT: I don't see how unik is spamming...

I banned Lily however.

EDIT2: Never mind, Lily, unik, and maxooan are all the same person. Rob, please block their IP address, since I am unable to.

Sure did. How did you know they were the same person?

I didn't - just recognised the random posting style and looked at their signatures. They all had links to random websites, so I guesed they must be bots or something.

Thanks for all the help everyone, lets remain wary of bots like that. I've seen a couple forums attackted by bots, it isn't pretty.
